Rhys Kosakowski x Valentino

Rhys Kosakowski is classically trained in ballet and contemporary dance, having performed with both the Sydney Dance Company and Houston Ballet. Recently, Rhys expanded his creative expression into the world of modelling and content creation, in addition to working as a movement director within the fashion industry.

Pierpaolo Piccioli's Valentino SS24 collection at École des Beaux-Arts in Paris featured a dynamic performance by FKA Twigs and a cast of dancers. Piccioli emphasized women's freedom amid political challenges in Italy. The dancers' expressive movements against classical sculptures heightened the runway experience, reinforcing the theme of empowerment and self-expression. The show successfully blended fashion, art, and societal values.

The show presented a perfect collaboration opportunity for Rhys, given his background as a dance artist. His image was seamlessly aligned with artistic vision of the runway performance. Coupled with a recent foray into modeling and content creation, he was positioned as an ideal collaborator. His attendance undoubtedly enhanced the synergy between fashion, dance, and artistic expression, elevating the overall impact of the event.

Rhys’ content related to the collaboration saw a 2% engagement, double the 1.04% industry standard for influencers of comparable size. Following the activation, Rhys’ social media saw newly found verified platform affinity to luxury brands, including Bottega Veneta, Calvin Klein, Cartier, Dior, and Prada.
